Fellowship

Besides our favorite traditions like the annual church picnic and corn roast, ECPC is always looking for new opportunities to foster fellowship, both within our church and our larger community.

Bible Studies

Every Sunday morning at 10am before worship, we have a Bible study that goes deeper into that Sunday morning’s Scripture readings for the day. We also have a mid-week Bible study for our friends across the street at Craftsbury Community Care Center every Thursday at 4pm.

Estuary

Designed especially to connect with our non-Christian neighbors is our twice-a-month Estuary. Estuary is a community-facing discussion group facilitated by East Craftsbury designed to foster deeper, more thoughtful conversations among neighbors. Topics are not pre-assigned but are determined by whoever shows up that day, with topics on absolute anything from philosophical, personal events you’re going through, spiritual matters, political and societal concerns, history, an article you read, a movie you saw, really anything at all. While organized by the church, these gatherings are not explicitly Christian in nature and are open to the entire community.

Estuary meets the 3rd Sundays at 4 PM at ECPC and 1st Thursdays at 1:30 PM at the manse (send us an email if you’re not sure where it is).

Community Events

We all know Vermont is a seasonal place full of artists, and we love whatever each season brings for unique gathering opportunities with our community friends. This includes family sledding parties in the winter, barn dances, concerts in the sanctuary, author discussions, library puppet shows, “Sugar on Snow” at the 4C’s, trivia nights, and more.
